I knew Jax would be my favorite. The party boy Brit intrigued me from book one and Lauren Asher did not disappoint with his character. I knew I was going to love Jax, and I was totally right. I adore him. But surprisingly, I think I adore Elena even more. That girl is strong and feisty, and the way she tackles Jax’s struggles made them the absolute perfect pair.Lauren Asher also knows how to give her characters unique experiences and shape them accordingly, which I really appreciate. They’re real and authentic, and it made this book that much better. The steam scenes were steamier, the emotional scenes packed more of a punch, and the HEA was sweeter because Jax and Elena are wonderfully crafted.Not to mention, the F1 racing world is so much fun! It can definitely be read as a stand-aloneBeta read
